Our Mission

Welcome to our website!  The Polish Genealogical Society of Massachusetts was founded to:  
  • promote interest in preparing a family tree 
  • unite people interested in Polish research
  • assist in research efforts
  • sponsor educational programs and publications 
  • preserve historical material which could aid research

Our New Genealogy Room

We are pleased to announce the opening of our genealogy room at the Polish Center for Discovery and Learning in Chicopee, MA.   The Center itself has a wonderful collection of displays as shown in the photos to the left.

The PSGMA genealogy room collections represent a cross section of the material culture of Poland. Our library has been moved to the Center, along with some historic maps and helpful genealogical resources.  Our web-enabled computer will be operational soon.

Come and start your family tree with the help of our experienced volunteers! Hours by appointment only.
